Dryden High School hosted the annual Grade 8 orientation day for students from local elementary schools.

The day started off with some group icebreaker activities in the big gym, followed by school and classroom tours where students were able to see the wide variety of course opportunities they will have at DHS next year.

The students were treated to a hotdog lunch with delicious baked goodies courtesy of the Food and Nutrition class in the big gym while they watched performances by the DHS Cheerleading team and some musical acts.

After an afternoon of more tours, the students met back up in the big gym for final words and some prize giveaways.

Jan. 7 Hey everyone!  Do you like working on jigsaw puzzles?  If you do, come to the library before school, during lunch or after school to put the pieces in place for the Eagle in the Sky.  Once completed, it will be displayed in the library.
Jan. 7 Mme Lovenuks’s period 3 HIF class is to meet in Room 124B.  Do NOT go to the computer lab.
Jan. 6 – 9 Any students interested in ordering a leather jacket this year should see Mr. Zilkalns before Friday, January 9th.  An order will be placed if there is sufficient interest.
