Wednesday, June 8th Announcements

June 8 The Ministry of Natural Resources & Forests is looking for a summer student to work in the biology lab this summer for 8 weeks and you must be at least 17 years old.  Please go to Guidance for more info.
June 8 Students using SEA technology (iPads and laptops) are asked to return them to Mrs. Jones in the Resource Room as soon as possible or by June 14.

Those students using technology for the math EQAO test are asked to bring their Chromebook to Mrs. Jones by tomorrow and those using technology for their exams are asked to bring the technology (chromebook, laptop, and/or iPad) to Mrs. Jones as soon as possible or by next Tuesday, June 14.

June 8 The Dryden Public Library will be opening at 9:00 am the week of exams – June 20 – 23rd for students who would like to study for exams.  Tim Hortons will be providing coffee and donuts.
June 8 Any students that are not using their netbooks, chrome books or books, please start returning them to the Library.
June 8 Grand march tickets must be picked up by the end of the day on Monday (remember Friday is a PD day). The safe grad members will then see how many extras are available at the meeting on Tuesday evening and will then make a decision as to giving out extra tickets.
June 8 Summer school options are open for registration!  You have an opportunity to take coop, paid coop, independent study, and French immersion courses.  If you have already signed up for Civics and Careers this summer, you must pick up a registration letter in the Guidance office.  Please come to Guidance for more information.

Upcoming driving events will be posted on the DHS Safe Grad 2016 Facebook group, for the time being, so pls join this group. May 31 Mr. Zilkalns hockey class is reminded to meet in the gym on Thursday, Pd 1 for their next session.
May 31 Mr. Walsh’s gr 11 bio & gr 12 Chemisty & Mr. McKillops Environmental Science classes are reminded to be in the student square at 8:45 am tomorrow morning to go to the experimental lakes.
May 31 Mr. Walsh’s health care class is to meet at the beginning of pd. 4 today at the hospital or in room 208 if you need a ride.
