Design Exchange High School Design Competition

Are you interested in design? Do you ever have ideas about fashion, architecture, graphics or products? The Sears Canada High School Design competition is for you!

Design Exchange is proud to announce the 15th Annual Sears Canadian High School Design Competition. The aim of the competition is to promote the study and awareness of various design disciplines in schools across Canada. The competition is open to all high school students, at the junior (grades 10 and below) and senior (grades 11 and above) levels. Prizes will be awarded at the two levels, in each of the four categories – Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Architectural / Interior Design, and Graphic Design.

Girls Hockey Results

The DHS Eagles brought home a 5-3 win from Kenora, clinching their first place spot in league standings.

Kristen Bartlett and Lauren Shoguchi both scored twice, and Morgan Church scored once. Alexis Reid had three assists.

 Great work girls!

The girls are at home this Friday to take on the Broncos.

Volunteer Opportunities for Students

Do you have a passion for the environment?  Earn your volunteer hours by assisting The Centre with their Blue Box Recycling program.  The Centre is just across the street from DHS – you could earn all of your volunteer hours in just half an hour a day (at lunch or after school).

The Canadian Red Cross is holding the 9th annual Feast or Famine February 18th  & 19th.
You can collect 8 volunteer hours by taking part in this fun event.
Signup sheet and sponsor forms are in the Guidance Office.
