DHS raises funds for Earthquake Relief

The DHS Leadership class held the “Saucy Skills Competition” at DHS on Tuesday. Students signed up to participate in a variety of skill testing events including a football toss, free throw shooting, hackey sack, hula hooping and video gaming.

Tickets were sold for the event, and a large group of students watched as the competitors went head to head in friendly competition.

The event raised close to $600 that will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross for earthquake relief efforts.

Thanks to the leadership class for their efforts, and to all students that purchased tickets to support this event. You’ve shown that DHS cares!
