Nov 17 Hey Hey Drama.  Today is the last chance to show what you got and audition for High School Musical 2, On Stage!   Everyone interested in acting in the show MUST be at the mandatory general acting audition today at lunch which starts promptly at 11:35.   See you there!
Nov 17 The boys hockey team kicked off their regular season with a 3 to 2 victory over the Saint Thomas Acquinas Saints last night. Scoring for the Eagles was Zack Lugli, Cale Oberg and Randy Russell. Picking up the win between the pipes was Jase Gamble. Good Effort Team.
Nov 17 Jr. Boys volleyball & Jr. Girls basketball players are to empty their team lockers by today at 3:10 pm.  Please return any jerseys/uniforms to your coach.
Nov 17 The Sr. Boys volleyball team is one step away from a trip to the OFSAA championship and they play Churchill this weekend and you can see game 1 during pd. 4 tomorrow. Purchase a $2 ticket from the Phys Ed or main office then show your teacher your ticket and head to the gym to root for the Eagles!  Teachers please do NOT mark students absent that show a ticket.
Nov 17 Girl’s hockey action is tonight against the visiting Beaver Brae Broncos.  Puck drop is at 7:00 pm.
Nov 17 Students are needed to assist at the door selling tickets.  If you need volunteer hours or just want to help, come see Mr. Zilkalns or leave your name at the office and he’ll find you.
Nov 17 Reminder there will be a yearend football meeting in the big gym today at 11:30 am.  Please make an effort to be there.
Nov 17 If you are 18 or over and have not filled out the Consent to Release Information Form, we need these forms filled out as soon as possible.  If you are currently in grade 11 and considering going to Con College after graduation, you may qualify for a $1000 entrance award.  Please stop by the guidance office for more information. Nov 16 There will be no wrestling tonight as there iso Parent TI.  It will resume tomorrow at 3:30 pm in the Cafeteria.

Nov 16 A great start to the girls hockey season last night with a 5 – 1 win over the TA Saints.  Scoring for the Eagles were Maddie MacDonald, Carly Russell, McKenna Corvello, Payton Boyko, and Jess Carter.  Hannah Zilkalns was solid in net for the win.  Next action is tomorrow night against the visiting Beaver Brae Broncos.  Puck drop is at 7:00 pm.

Nov 16 A talented group of Eagles boy’s hockey looks to start their season strong when the TA Saints come to town tonight.  Faceoff is set for 6:30 pm.
Nov 16 Are you asking “What Time is it”?   Well it is time to feel “Fabulous” and audition for the Dramatic Arts Associations production of Disney’s High School Musical 2!   On Stage!   Remember “you are the music in me” and that we’ll “work this out”.   You might feel like you are no Zac Effron you might even say “I Don’t Dance”, but don’t let that stop you in signing up for an audition outside room 125.   With “Every Day” we’ll get better, remembering that we are “All for One”.  If you are one of those people who just “Gotta Go My Own Way”, then work your way down to room 125 now and sign up.

Tues. Nov. 15th Announcements

Nov 15 Report cards will be handed out in your pd. 2 class today.  If you have a spare Block A, your report card will be in the main office.
Nov 15 Any students wanting to try out for wrestling, practices are Tues, Wed & Thurs from 3:30 – 5:00 pm in the Cafeteria.
Nov 15 Today is Toonie Tuesday at the Foods Room.  For a toonie you can get Taco-in-a-bag or a bowl of chili.  For another toonie you can get a Gatorade or for a loonie ice tea or water.
