Morning Announcements – Feb. 8, 2010

Feb. 8 Spirit week starts this week – Teachers, please post the pink sheet with the events in your classrooms.  Tomorrow is Pajama Day, so come to school in your favourite P.J.s – Block A Trivia will also happen tomorrow.  Wednesday is the Pep Rally – classes will be called down during period 2.  Olympic fever is the theme – all Grade 9’s wear yellow to school, Grade 10’s wear black, Grade 11’s wear red, Grade 12’s wear green and staff wear blue.
Feb. 8 Congratulations to the wrestling team for their outstanding performance this past weekend in Saskatoon.
Feb. 8 Graduation pictures will be taken on February 17, 18 & 19th.  Yearbook pictures are free, but a sitting with proofs are $10.00 to $20.00 depending on the type of package you want.  You must get your picture taken with Lifetouch in order to be in the composite picture on the wall.  Sign up sheets are in the main office.
Feb. 8 The Canadian Red Cross is holding their 9th annual Feast or Famine on February 18th and 19th.  You can collect 8 volunteer hours by taking part in this fun event.  Sign up sheet and sponsor forms are in the Guidance Office.
Feb. 8 Dryden minor hockey is looking for students to volunteer to run the time clock for the upcoming Dryden Peewee hockey tournament on Friday Feb. 12th and Saturday, Feb. 13th.  Please sign up here in the main office by next Wednesday.
Feb 8-10 Enviro, iro, iro, thon….   We want you….   Do you like science?  Do you want to compete in teams, testing your environmental knowledge?  If this sounds like something you and your friends would be interested then come out to our next meeting Wednesday at 11:30 in room 107.
