The DHS Eagles put on a great show for an appreciative hometown crowd at this years homecoming match.

The Eagles fought the St. Johns Tigers to a 9-6 finish in an action-filled game at Harry McMaster field. Jamie Mesics brought in the lone Eagles touchdown with Adam Swientek adding the extra point. Swientek latter added a rouge to bring the Eagles to 9 points.

Thanks to all the fans who came out to support the Eagles for Homecoming!

The Eagles travel to Winnipeg this Friday to take on the Murdoch McKay Clansmen. The next home game for Football is also the last one of the season, October 23 vs the Oak Park Raiders. Come out and cheer on your Eagles!

Come out to the Harry McMaster field today for the Eagles Homecoming game!

The homecoming parade will be starting at 10:50.

Football kickoff is 2:00.

Class time schedule for today:
Pd. 1 = 8:50 – 9:45
Pd. 2 = 9:55 – 10:50
Lunch = 10:50 – 11:50 — Parade Around Town, and BBQ Lunch at Back of School
Pd. 3 = 11:50 – 12:45
Pd. 4 = 12:55 – 1:55
Football Game = 2pm

Morning Announcements – Sept. 25, 2009

Sept. 25 Homecoming Parade will start @ the end of pd. 2 today from the back of the school.  BBQ lunch selling hotdogs and cold drinks will also occur @ lunch today in the front of the school.
Sept. 24, 25 Mrs. Jones Leadership & Peer Support (GPP 300) students who are not in approved placement are to meet in room 136.
Sept. 18 – 25 Attention all students interested in Thrive Group, the group meeting will be on October 2, block D in room 131.
Sept. 25 University of Manitoba representatives will be here on Monday, Sept. 28th from 2:00 – 3:00 in the library.  Interested students should sign up in the Guidance Office.
Sept. 25 – 29 A reminder to staff and students that the College Information Program Tour will be here Tuesday, Sept. 29th from 9:00 to 10:00 in the small gym.  Approximately 16 colleges from across Ontario will be available to answer questions.  For more information go to the Guidance Office.
