Welcome Back, DHS!

Mrs. Gardam leads her class through a practice round of “Hail to Dryden High”

The DHS leadership class organized the annual “Welcome Back Assembly” on Wednesday.

Presentations from Mrs. McConnachie and various student groups served to inform DHS about what to expect in the upcoming school year. Things to watch out for this year include a new Math Club and continuing activities from the various Arts associations.

Closing out the assembly was Mr. Keen with a message about “Schools Building Schools” and fundraising effort that continues this year. If you are interested in participating in “Schools Building Schools”, drop by the main office for a sign up form or contact Peter Keen at peterckeen@hotmail.com

What do you need to graduate?

The Ontario Government has produced this informative poster that outlines the requirements for graduation with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

Check it out and make sure you’re on track!

If you have any questions or need help with your goal of graduating from Dryden High School, make an appointment to speak with a guidance counselor. The guidance office is open from 8:00 to 4:00 and is located in the corner of Student Square, next to the DHS library.
