DHS Walks for Terry Fox

DHS students and staff participated in the annual Terry Fox run today.

Dryden High School students and staff participated in the annual Terry Fox run today.

Participants were treated to gorgeous fall weather as they walked, ran or rolled to support cancer research in honour of Canadian hero Terry Fox.

After completing the run a barbeque with musical entertainment was held on the front steps of DHS.

Thanks to all for participating and a special thanks to Mrs. Gardam and the DHS Leadership class for organizing the event.

Tuesday Court Sports Results

The DHS Eagles split the day with the Fort Frances Muskies on Tuesday in Fort.

The boys volleyball teams both brought home wins, with the senior boys taking four sets and the juniors three to finish things off.

The girls basketball teams were not as lucky, with the senior girls dropping 30-13 and the juniors falling 20-15.

Next court sport action is October 13th as the Eagles face the Muskies at home in Dryden.

Don’t miss Friday’s homecoming football game. Kickoff is 2:00 pm, wear your blue and gold and come on out to support the Eagles!
