Oct. 26 Attention Grade 12’s with Safe Grad Tickets – Ticket books must be turned in by Friday November 19th unless you have made other arrangements with Mrs. Griffiths.  To discuss volunteer times available, please contact Mrs. Griffiths at 937-6161.
Oct. 25 – 27 Football players are reminded that Wednesday at lunch is the time to turn in your equipment.  Please bring cleaned game and practice pants.
Oct. 26 Canadian Blood Services is asking for over 35 students and staff to help hospital patients by donating blood at DHS on Nov. 3 from 4:30 – 9:00 and Thurs. Nov. 4 from 12:00 – 3:00 & 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.  There are 35 appointment spots to fill between 12:30 and 2:00 p.m.  Those wishing to donate at other times or for other information can call 1-888-2-DONATE.  A single donation can help up to three people, so every donation counts!
Oct. 26 Grade 12 students are encouraged to check out the bulletin board and binder in the guidance office for the latest scholarships and bursaries.
Oct. 14 – 27 Need to earn an extra credit?  There will be a Religious Education Course offered after school.  The course will run one to two times a week between October 27 and June 1.  Please sign up in the guidance office to register.
Oct. 26 This year at the Festival of Trees there will be a “Dryden Kids Have Talent” Show.  It will be Nov. 27th at 6:30 p.m. at The Centre.  You can sing, dance, perform magic, or tell jokes.  Come to the main office for a registration form.  It will be limited entries, so sign up early.  There will be a $5.00 minimum donation to Grace Haven per entry.

The Dryden Eagles were defeated by East Kildonan 31-13 on Friday in their last game of the season.

The Eagles stepped up with a solid performance against East Kildonan. Andrew Langlais & Mike Lampshire led the defense while Josh Reid & Jeremy Euler scored on offence.

The coaches wish to thank those who have finished their football careers & looks forward to next season when a strong core of players returns.
