Sept. 20 We want you to be part of this year’s drama musical.  Auditions are taking place this week, so come on and sign up outside the drama room.   Don’t miss this opportunity to get involved.  
Sept. 20-27 Encounters with Canada is looking for people who love sports to attend their “Sports and Fitness” themed session during the week of September 29th. There are a variety of interesting activities available to choose from, Visit to TD place where the Red Blacks playMeet professional athletes, sports medicine doctorsBoot Camp activitiesOCR academy (Spartan Race and American Ninja Warrior Gym)Clip and Climb, gymnastics, martial arts, and Cross Fit are among the possibilities Please see Ms.Rosaasen in Room 1116 for more information.  
Sept. 20-24 “Rotary Adventures in Agriculture” are being held in Regina in November. The Rotary Club is pleased to sponsor 2 DHS students in Grades 11 or 12 again this year. More information for students interested in this venture and other “Rotary” opportunities is available in the Library on the table by the red chairs, or the Guidance Office. Due date to submit these applications is Tuesday, September 24th.   There also will be an information session Monday Sept. 23rd at 7 pm if you are interested in becoming a Rotary Exchange student! There are deadlines to apply, so please come to inform yourself.  
Sept. 20-Oct.3 There is an opportunity to sign up for A Metis Fall Camp from Oct.24th to 27th. More information and eligibility criteria is posted on the DHS website or go to the 4 Directions room and see Ms. Rachel Gessie  
Sept. 20 -23rd The college information program will be in the small gym on Monday September 23 from 1:00-2:30. Come out and meet with representatives of 15 Ontario Colleges.  
Sept. 20 – 24th Cambrian College in Sudbury will have a representative at Dryden High School on Tuesday September 24th. Please sign up in the Guidance office if you will be attending.  

June 18th Announcements

Subway will be closing their doors for this school year at 12:30 pm this Friday, June 21st.  They will not be open next week during exams.
Cash calendars must be handed in this week as the draws start soon.  Eagle athletes who won awards at the banquet but were not in attendance can come to the Phys Ed office to pick up their award.
Grand March tickets & ceremony tickets are ready to be picked up at the office.  If you do not plan on attending the Grand March, please let the office know and we can give your tickets to other graduates that requested extras.

Drop by the Library at Lunch today to learn about the Rotary Exchange Programs from Students Already Involved!

Please listen up about lockers…when you are finished exams, you must clean out your lockers and take your lock home for the summer.  When you return in September, bring your lock and you will receive your same locker.  The caretakers will begin cleaning the empty lockers after exams and if any items are left in your locker after exams, we will assume you no longer want the items.
Reminder that all students need to bring back any books they have checked out from the library.  Any textbooks and devices signed out from the library are due back at the end of this month.
