KPDSB Random Acts of Kindness Challenge is on this week Feb 21-25. In honour of Pink Shirt Day 2022 on Feb 23, the KPDSB is issuing a random acts of kindness challenge to our schools and communities! let’s fill our schools, communities and social media with random acts of kindness this week – use the hashtag #KindnessatKP to share your act of kindness and inspire others!

Good luck to the Eagles basketball & volleyball teams today as they host the Fort Frances Muskies. Spectators are not permitted but games will be live streamed starting at 4 pm.

Three victories on the court on Tuesday as both volleyball teams defeated Fort Frances 2 sets to 1. Of note was the strong serving of Lara Brown and Meagan Peters. The senior boys basketball team ran to a 47-28 win with Ethan Cook and Dom Morriseau the leading scorers. Jett Livingston had 14 of the 21 Eagle points for the juniors but it was not enough in th eend as Fort took the game 56-21.

BLUE & GOLD day is Thursday February 24.

NWHU Vaccination Clinic for staff & students on Thurs Feb 24 from 11:30-4:00 in the school library. This is for a first, second or booster dose of Covid-19 vaccine or regular publicly funded vaccine.

Timekeepers are being sought for the ladies broomball on March 28 and for the Northern Bands hockey tournament April 4-10. If interested in these paid positions, call or text 323-3000.

Any potential grads can stop by the office to provide us with a height measurement for grad gowns.

Good luck to our court sport teams today (Thurs) as they host Beaver Brae shortly after 4 pm. Friday the hockey teams travel to Kenora to face the Broncos.

Domination on the volleyball courts yesterday as both the senior & junior girls defeated Beaver Brae 3 sets to 0. Basketball was decided in the 3rd quarter in both matches. Senior boys outscored the Broncos 17-5 in the frame on their way to a 54-27 victory. The junior eagles only managed 4 points in the 3rd in a 42-28 defeat.
