Congratulations to the eagles track and field team for their best ever performance at all province all school ofsaa championships in Mississauga last weekend. The team set multiple school and NWOSSAA records over the three days. The girls team had an outstanding meet.Lindsay Coles finished 8th in midget girls discus. With an NWOSSAA record. Andie Wood finished 10th and also set an NWOSSAA record in the open girls steeple. She finished 20th in the 3000 m run. Ally WISNESKI finished 14th in discus and 19th in shot. Alexandra Cooper finished 15th in javelin and top 20 in the discus and shot.Well done Eagles! Many of this year’s team will continue their season over the summer as members of the Manitoba provincial youth team as they work towards the Canadian Youth Championships in Langley BC this August. |
