Apr 7 For Mr Schmidt’s outdoor ed class, this is a reminder to go directly to IGA after your period 3 class today.  Do NOT go to room 137.
Apr. 7 Any students interested in checking out the mock trial law team, please come to a meeting tomorrow at 11:30 in Room 116 or see Mrs. Palermo
Apr. 7 Badminton practice for both JR & SR qualifiers are at 3:30 today.
Apr. 7 DHS Ambassadors travelling to LONDON are reminded to bring their passports tonight.
Apr. 7 The Health Unit will be here on Wednesday to do the immunizations.  They said you can still drop off your signed forms up to and including Wednesday.
Apr. 7 There will be a very important Ont Students Against Impaired Drivers meeting tomorrow at lunch in the upper video conference room.
Apr. 7 – 10 The DHS Ambassadors are planning an EF tour to Spain in May of 2015. Trips are open to students attending DHS that year.  If you would like to travel, please bring a parent to one of the information meetings being held tonight or Thursday at 6:30 pm in the HS Library.  If you cannot make one of those meetings please see Mr. Markham in rm 211.
Apr. 7 This message is for grade 12 students – the local scholarships and bursaries are now available.  Go to and click on the guidance tab.  If you have any questions please go to the guidance office.
Apr. 7 A Rainy River Community College representative will be here on Tuesday, April 29th @ 9:00 am in the Library.  They will be discussing scholarship opportunities and earning the first 2 years of a University degree.  Any Gr. 11 or 12 students interested can sign up in the GO.
Apr. 7 Grade 12 students applying to universities and colleges outside of Ontario MUST let the guidance office know, or your transcripts will not be sent. Also, please remember to check the DHS website and the binder in the guidance office on a regular basis for the latest scholarships and bursaries.
