Mar 20 (8:50 & 11:30) Please come & check out the world water day display in the Library for your chance to win jellybeans!  The winner will be announced today on the DHS Eco Schools face book page.  You must like the page to win.
Mar 20 World water day is on March 22nd & you can help save a life by turning the tap off while brushing your teeth, taking shorter showers & maybe even turn your sprinkler off once in a while.  It’s the little thinks that can save a life.  Please help show your support, you can make a difference.
Mar 20 This message is for all Cosmetology students who have taken the 11 or 12 course – Please see Mrs. Durocher by Friday for more information on the Apr. 9 & 10 trip to Winnipeg and to pick up a trip consent form.
Mar 20 Registration forms for Dryden Minor Softball can still be picked up at the office and handed in to Mrs. Cooper.
Mar 20 The 5th Annual Aboriginal Science fair is just around the corner.  If you are of Aboriginal Ancestry, First Nations, Metis or Inuit and are interested in entering the regional science fair in Thunder Bay April 10 and 11, please pick up the information in the guidance office and if you have questions please see Mrs. Ambridge.
Mar 20 Grade 12 graduation picture re-takes will the week of March 25.  Remember you must register on-line to book your appointment.  Come to the office for the information.
Mar 20 Whether you are a high school student needing your 40 volunteer hours to graduate or just someone who needs\wants something to do with your time, The Dryden Mission would love to have you as a volunteer!  They have tons of things to do to help with the community.  Snow shoveling, sorting items for Africa, cleaning, sorting and displaying new donated items, or just hanging out with great people, the Dryden Mission wants to give you that opportunity.  Please come to the office for contact info.

Mar 20 There are summer job opportunities for students with the Ontario Public Service.
Mar 20 The Ontario Educational Leadership Centre is offering several leadership courses this summer.   Students will develop leadership skills through their choice of courses such as music, the arts, athletics or French.
Mar 20 The University of Winnipeg is hosting the High School Enrichment Program from April 29 – May 2.
Mar 20 Grade 12 students applying to universities and colleges outside of Ontario MUST let the guidance office know, or your transcripts will not be sent. Also, please remember to check the DHS website and the binder in the guidance office on a regular basis for the latest scholarships and bursaries.
