Feb 26 Mrs. Anderson is looking for timekeepers for broomball this weekend.  If you are looking for volunteer hours, please come to the office to sign up.
Feb 26 There will be a short meeting on Friday at 11:45 in Room 118 for those students travelling to Costa Rica next week.
Feb 26 Registration for Youth Soccer and Dryden Minor Softball will be on March 3rd & 5th at the First United Church. Registration forms for the Softball are available at the office and after it’s filled out, they can be handed back to the office to be placed in Mrs. Coopers mailbox.
Feb 26 You can still pick up your match maker for $2 at the office.
Feb 26 Grade 12 graduation picture re-takes will be on March 26 & 27.  Remember you must register on-line to book your appointment.  Come to the office for the information.

Feb 26 The Dryden Rotary Club is once again sponsoring a grade 11 or 12 student to attend this year’s Adventures In Technology that runs from Apr 28th to May 2nd in Saskatoon.   Deadline for applications is Tues, Mar.4th
Feb 26 If you are a Gr. 11 student and planning to attend Confederation College after high school, please listen up….Confederation College will pay the $95.00 application fee and credit a $1,000 entrance bursary for five grade 11 students.  The deadline for this is today.
Feb 26 There are summer job opportunities for students with the Ontario Public Service.
Feb 26 The Ontario Educational Leadership Centre is offering several leadership courses this summer.   Students will develop leadership skills through their choice of courses such as music, the arts, athletics or French.
Feb 26 The University of Winnipeg is hosting the High School Enrichment Program from April 29 – May 2.
Feb 26 Grade 12 students applying to universities and colleges outside of Ontario MUST let the guidance office know, or your transcripts will not be sent. Also, please remember to check the DHS website and the binder in the guidance office on a regular basis for the latest scholarships and bursaries.
