Morning Announcements – Thursday, October 31st

Oct. 31 Lakehead University is preparing for its 2013 Fall Preview Days on Tuesday, December 3rd.  This event is open to grade 12 students, their family and friends.  Registration information is available in the GO.
Oct. 31 All students travelling with Mrs Ambridge to Trent university are to go to Room 206 at 11:30 today for final travel information.  This is a mandatory meeting.
Oct 31 The girls hockey team is looking for someone to play music at their home games.  Please see Mr. Carter right away if interested.
Oct. 31 Grade 12 students applying to universities and colleges outside of Ontario MUST let the guidance office know, or your transcripts will not be sent. Also, please remember to check the DHS website and the binder in the guidance office on a regular basis for the latest scholarships and bursaries.
Oct. 31 Picture re-takes will be on Wednesday, November 6th.  Also the Canadian Armed Forces will be here on Nov. 6th at 9:00 am in the Library.  If you are interested in University, College or the Reserves you should attend this session.  Sign up in the GO.
Oct. 31 There are still student ID cards to be picked up at the office, providing your student fees have been paid.
Oct. 31– Nov. 5 The AA Bantom Hockey League is looking for volunteers to help with their Dryden tournament the weekend of Nov. 8th.  There are sign-up sheets at the office to work the clock and the door.
