Morning Announcements – Thursday, October 17, 2013

Oct. 17 The Boy’s Golf Team sits 14th out of 20 teams after Day 1 play at Ofsaa in Windsor.

Kirk Markowski lead the way carding a 79 and is tied for 38th out of 120 competitiors. Trey Palermo carded an 84th and sits 80th, Josh Kitt shot 85 tied for 86th position and Cam Zappitelli finished 103rd with a score of 90.

Oct. 17 Students with application forms for Adventures in Agriculture, please bring them to the guidance office as soon as possible and a reminder that the deadline to register is October 25th.
Oct. 17 – 28 Eagles athletes are reminded that your Eagles cards are due next week.  If you have sold all 20, you can turn in your results to Mr. Zilkalns or to the main office.  If you want more cards, please see Mr. Zilkalns.
Oct. 17 Any students interested in purchasing a class ring are asked to pick up a brochure at the Office.   A sales associate from Jostens will be here on OCTOBER 29th & 30th for the ring fittings.
Oct. 17 On October 23rd, Skills Canada is hosting a “Skills Work for Women” networking dinner.  For more information or to register for this event you can go to the GO.
Oct. 17 Grade 12 students – Please check the DHS website and the binder in the guidance office on a regular basis for the latest scholarships and bursaries.
Oct. 17 Confederation College will be here on October 29th @ 9 am – Library
Oct. 17 This Sunday the Youth Advocacy Training Institute will be hosting a training event from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm at the Ontario Aboriginal Housing Services @ 24 Duke Street.  This is a free event and is a great way to get your volunteer hours.  Snacks and lunch will be provided!  You can go to the GO for more information.
