Oct 15 Students with application forms for Adventures in Agriculture, please bring them to the guidance office as soon as possible.

Eagles athletes are reminded there is only one week left to sell your Eagles cards.  If you have sold all 20, you can turn in your results to Mr. Zilkalns or the main office.  If you want more cards, please see Mr. Zilkalns.
Oct. 15 Reminder to the Cheerleaders – there will be a practice tomorrow morning at 7 am.
Oct. 15 (10:15 am) Mr. Zilkalns grade 11/12 class – Pd. 2 is to go to the big gym today.
Oct. 15 Hey Girls!  Have you ever thought about a career in the skilled trades and technologies?  Would you like to meet inspiring women from your community who have found exciting and rewarding careers in a field they love?  On October 23rd, Skills Canada is hosting a “Skills Work for Women” networking dinner.  For more information or to register for this event you can go to the GO.

There will be an Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving meeting today at lunch in the upper video conference room.
Oct. 15 Grade 12 students – Please check the DHS website and the binder in the guidance office on a regular basis for the latest scholarships and bursaries.
Oct. 15 Confederation College – October 29th @ 9 am – Library

Signup sheets are in the guidance office and a complete list of all presentations is posted by the guidance office.

Oct. 15 The deadline is Oct. 25th to register for the Adventures in Agriculture. The Rotary Club is sponsoring a grade 11 or 12 student to attend this event.  Interested students can go to the GO.
Oct. 15 On Sunday, October 20th the Youth Advocacy Training Institute will be hosting a youth training from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm at the Ontario Aboriginal Housing Services @ 24 Duke Street.  This is a free event and is a great way to get your volunteer hours.  Snacks and lunch will be provided!  The training includes ice breakers, energizers and information on creative ways to advocate. If you are looking for a new opportunity that’s fun you can go to the GO to get a form.
