Morning Announcements – December 12th, 2011

Dec. 12 Congratulations to the girls hockey team for winning the PCI tournament in Portage.  The girls went 3 – 0 in the round robin and defeated Beaver Brae 2 – 0 in the championship game.  Scoring in the final game were Martina Wintle and Kristen Bartlett.  Earning the shutout and game MVP honours was CJ Ecker.  The team hosts TA this Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Dec. 12 The Co-op Share Fair will be held all day Wednesday, Dec. 14 in the library.  Students who are considering taking Co-op are encouraged to drop in to visit the displays and find out more about what the Co-op Program has to offer.
Dec. 12 All wrestlers must attend practice today to weigh in for the tournament.  You must weigh in to travel tomorrow.
Dec. 12 The Grade 11 Cosmetology class will be styling hair for the Snowball Dance during period 3 and 4 on Thursday, December 15th.  $10.00 for hair touching shoulders, $14.00 for longer hair & $2.00 for bang trims.  See Mrs. Durocher in the cosmo room 124A to book a stylist.
Dec. 12 Grade 12 students, a representative from Contact North will be here tomorrow.  Contact North is a Distance Education & Training Network that provides a host of services to northern students.  For more information or to sign up, stop by the guidance office.

Dec. 12 Grade 12 students applying to universities and colleges outside of Ontario, MUST let the guidance office know, or transcripts will not be sent.
