DHS Success in Anti-Bottled Water contest

Mr. Darling's class poses with their new water bottles, courtesy of Whitley Altenburg's prize winning poster.

Two DHS students took top honours in the KPDSB “Anti-Bottled Water” poster contest. In the Intermediate division, Ashlee MacDonald took top prize. Whitley Altenburg was the winner in the Senior division.

Each of the winning posters has been reproduced for distribution to classrooms, offices, workrooms and public spaces. The posters will help to remind everyone to do their part in eliminating the use of plastic in our communities and schools.

The winning artists have received a class-set of bright red KPDSB reusable metal water bottles, to share with their classmates and teacher.

Thanks to all DHS students who participated in the contest! Thanks for helping to reduce the use of plastic at DHS.
