April 11 The Dryden High School Envirothon team made us proud this past Friday as they defeated 2 teams from Beaver Brae.  Be sure to wish them luck as their next competition will be Provincials in St. George, ON from May 4th – 7th.
April 11 – 15 The student trustee position for the new school year 2011 – 2012 is designated to come to DHS.  Any students who are interested please come to see Mrs. McConnachie by Friday, April 15th.
April 11 Mrs. Moline’s HSP class is at 11:30 today in the library.
April 11 Boys soccer practice is cancelled today.  Next practice is tomorrow at 3:30.
April 8 – 11 Confederation College will be holding an information session for grade 11 students today from 2:00 – 3:00.  Interested students must sign up in the guidance office.
April 11 Grade 12 students:  the local scholarships and bursaries site is now open.  Go to dhseagles.com and follow the links.
April 11 The Dryden Ball Diamonds Committee is looking for some student volunteers to help with set up on May 6th serving dinner on May 7th and take down on May 8th for the 7th Annual Chamber Business Excellence Awards Dinner.  Please come to the main office for more information if you are interested.
April 11 The 2011 Dryden Sports & Home Show organizers are looking for 4 – 6 students to help out from April 12 – 16.  Volunteers are required for the following:  show set-up, show greeters, show take-down & the Red Cross booth.  For more information come to the main office.
April 11 Grade 12 graduating students…graduation is less than 3 months away.  Orders for your cap and gown can be  placed here in the office.  $25.00 will reserve a cap and gown…a requirement for walking across the stage.  If you are choosing not to attend the graduation ceremonies, a form must be filled out indicating a cap and gown will not be required.
April 11 Attention to students who have not yet returned the green Consent to Release Personal Information form that was in with your report cards, please return this form as soon as possible.  Without this consent form, your picture will not be in the yearbook.  If you need a form, there are extras here in the main office.
