Feb. 10 The Eagles Nordic Ski Team posted great race times yesterday at the NWOSSA Nordic Ski Championship in Kenora.  Kjell Schmidt took third in the Sr. Boys; Candace Glowa – third in Sr. Girls; Eric Schmidt and Adrian Lizzi – 1st and 3rd in Jr. Boys.  Well done Eagles!
Feb. 10 Semester One Cosmetology students Grade 10 & 11 may pick up their mannequin heads from the library.  Talk to the librarian to help you take them out of the display case.
Feb. 10 Every Monday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Northwestern Health Unit will be running a sexual health clinic at DHS.  The first clinic day is February 14th.   Stop by the guidance office to enter your name for draw prizes.  All appointments are confidential.  New and walk in appointments are welcome.
Feb. 8 – 11 There will be seats available for spectators on the bus going to Kenora for the NorWOSSA court sports playoffs next Friday, Feb. 18th.  Consent forms are available in the Phys. Ed. office – 1st come/1st serve for signed forms & $15.00 payment returned to the phys. ed. office.
Feb. 10 Hey DHS!  Valentine’s Day is next Monday.  The business classes will be taking orders for roses and Valentine Persians all week at lunch in the student square.  $5.00 for a rose, $2.00 for a Persian.  Surprise your sweetheart or that special someone!
Feb. 10 Attention graduating students – grad photos are scheduled for Feb. 15, 16 & 17.  Sign-up sheets are on the counter, here in the main office.
Feb. 10 Here is another opportunity for students in need of volunteer hours.  The Dryden Public Library is looking for tech savvy teens to use their skills to teach seniors how to use a variety of electronics and computer programs.  There is a registration form here in the main office.  For more information visit the Public Library or call 223-1475.
Feb. 10 Attention to students who have not yet returned the green Consent to Release Personal Information form that was in with your report cards, please return this form as soon as possible.  Without this consent form, your picture will not be in the yearbook.  If you need a form, there are extras here in the main office.
