DHS and the Relay For Life

Dryden High School hosted the Relay for Life for the third year last Friday and Saturday, and the level of involvement by DHS students and staff continues at a high level.

12 DHS student teams raised almost $10,000 in pledges towards cancer research. The grand total for the night was $57,000.

Teams had an average of 10-12 members. Musical entertainment was provided by performers from the community and from Mr. Grahams music class. Madame Lovenuk’s foods classes provided food for the survivors dinner. Mrs. Gardam’s leadership class and a group of student volunteers helped with organizing and keeping things running smoothly. In total there were close to 300 DHS students participating in this amazing event.

Thanks to all students and staff for the support and participation.

See you next year!
