Morning Announcements – March 2, 2010

Mar. 2 Good luck to our girls hockey team playing tonight @ 6:30 here in Dryden.  Come cheer on our team playing in Game 3 in best of 3 semi-finals.  As well, good luck to the wrestlers leaving today to compete at the provincial OFSAA championship.
Mar. 1 – 5 The Dryden Figure Skating Club’s annual ice show takes place this Friday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dryden arena.  Come out and see the show.
Mar. 1 – 3 In order to facilitate upgrading of the library computers, the library will be closed Wednesday, March 3 and Thursday March 4 including between classes, lunch breaks, before and after school.
Mar. 1 Just a reminder to senior students to check the scholarship & bursary board for the most recent ones being offered.
Feb. 26, Mar. 1 Reminder to grade 11 & 12 students that representatives from Lakehead University will be here today at 9:00 a.m. in the library.  Interested students are to sign up in the Guidance Office.

Feb. 24 – Mar. 5 Hey Everyone:  Bring all your spare change down to the Eagle’s Nest and donate what you can to support one of our own Dryden Eagles, Jonathon Mudryk as he awaits a heart transplant in Alberta.
Feb. 24 – Mar. 2 Have you ever wondered what it could be like if the girls were the ones asking the guys out on dates?  Are you interested in a role in a short play?  If you answered “yes” to either one of these questions, come out to room 125 at 11:30 today, to learn more about the short play:  “If Girls Asked Boys for Dates.”

Mar. 1 – 5 Be A Denim Donor.  Warehouse One is having a clothing drive.  Bring in your old blue jeans & get $10.00 off a new pair.  All donations go to people in need.  You can drop them off or call for a pick up.
