Morning Announcements – Nov. 5, 2009

Nov. 5, 6 NorWossa playoffs are next Thursday in Kenora.  There will be seats available for students on the spectator bus for $15.00 ea.  Parent consent forms & teacher permission to miss class forms are available in the phys. ed. office.  Please return signed consent forms and money to the phys. ed. office.  The # of seats available is limited.
Nov. 5 & 6 Attention all staff & students – veteran’s week is next week and Remembrance Day is next Wednesday.  Poppies are in the main office, along with a donation box.  Please wear your poppy over your heart on left side to show your support.
Nov. 5, 6 Staff and students needing First Aid and/or CPR training, a schedule and price list from the Canadian Red Cross are posted in the main office and guidance office.
Nov. 4 – 12 Do you like basketball?  If your answer is yes, then we’ve got the lunch hour for you!  4 – on – 4  mixed basketball tournament!  Sign up sheet is in the main office and a meeting is November 12th in the library at 11:30.  Be there or be square!
Oct. 30 – Nov. 4 and 5 Canadian Blood Services is asking for over 30 students to help hospital patients by donating blood at Dryden High School today, from 12:00 – 3:00 and 5:00 – 8:30 p.m.  There are 30 appointment spots to fill between 12:50 p.m. to 1:50 p.m.  Those wishing to donate at other times or for other information can call 1-888-2-DONATE.  Thank you for helping hospital patients.   
Nov. 4, 5 There will be a Drama Club meeting today at lunch in the Drama room.
Nov. 3 – 5 The Haunted Rock Show will be at 7:00 p.m. tonight in the big gym.  Admission will be $5.00.
Nov. 5 All Music Students are reminded about the Remembrance Day Lunch Rehearsal today.  Be there as soon as the bell goes!!!
Nov. 5, 6 You have one last chance to get your pictures taken or retaken on Monday, Nov. 9th.  Wait to be called down Monday morning.  If you did not get your picture package yet from retakes, it may be here in the main office.
