On Friday afternoon, a group of DHS students performed some improvised theatre at the Centre as part of the Dryden Cultural Fair. The group members presented a variety of skits based on games such as “Clap”, “Lines”, “Hitchhiker”, and “Party”.

The group members said that performing improv “gives you a chance to be something or someone that you’re not”, and that they enjoy the “rush of being on stage and having to think on their feet”. They also enjoy performing with audience input, as they never know what they will be asked to do.

The DHS Improv Group is an informal group that is open to anyone. If you’d like to get involved with DHS Improv, just stop by the drama room any Thursday at lunch. New members are always welcome!
