Thurs. Dec 6th Announcements/Reminders

Dec 6 Last chance to sign up and audition for Mary Poppins.   We still need more people, so come on out and be part of this awesome team and help take this show to the DHS stage this spring.
Dec 6 We are still looking for volunteers to help score keep for the Sr. girls volley ball tournament this weekend.  If you are interested in helping out Friday & Saturday, please see Mr. McKenzie.
Dec 6 Lunch hour lockdown will be starting today in the 4D room 119.  Any students that would like to come down for extra help or to complete work, bring it to Room 119 on Monday’s and Wednesday’s and enjoy a lunch.
Dec 6 Volunteers are needed to help at this week’s movie at The Centre tonight at 6:15 pm.  Volunteers can help with tickets and cleanup & watch the movie for free.  Please sign up in the Guidance office.
Dec 6 Grad photos will be on February 5, 6 & 7.  The Lifetouch website will be available to book online in January after the Christmas break.  You must book online @ www.lifetouch.ca/tbay to reserve a time for your photos.
Dec 6 The Eagle’s Nest Annual Christmas Parent Shopping Night will be this Friday from 3:30 – 6 p.m.  An opportunity to stock up on some amazing Eagles wear!
Dec 6 Exciting News!  The DHS Yearbook Team is putting out a double issue 18/19 & 17/18 yearbook this year.  If you purchase one, it will be in your hands around June 10th of this school year!  The cost is $25 and must be paid by December 14.  If you paid your student fees in 2017/18 you will receive a yearbook.  If you are unsure if you paid your student fees check with the main office.  Yearbooks must be prepaid as they cannot be purchased after they arrive, and are not available online.
Dec 6 Any potential grads that are interested in being a part of graduation plans or safe grad plans, please go to the “DHS Graduating Class 2019” face book page.

Mon. Dec 3rd Announcements/Reminders

Dec 3 The girl’s hockey team won a silver medal in Portage over the weekend.  The team swept through the round robin before losing in the final to T.A.  The girls will look to avenge the game when they host the Saints on Tuesday at 6:30 pm.
Dec 3 In a special event to support the family of Ben Hackl, the boy’s hockey team faces off against the T.A. Saints tonight at 7:00 pm. Proceeds from the door, donations and door prizes will assist Ben’s family who recently lost their father.  Come cheer on the Eagles while doing a good deed.
Dec 3 Students who signed up to work court sport games are reminded to check the schedule on the Phys Ed office window.  Games start at home this Thursday.
