Wed. Dec. 19th Announcements/Reminders

Dec 19 You’re invited to attend our DHS Christmas Concert on Thursday December 20th, beginning at 6:30 p.m.  The concert will be held in the Gordon Wood Auditorium and the cost of admission is $5.00 per person.  The concert will feature both modern and traditional music and will showcase some our up and coming DHS musicians.
Dec 19 Boys hockey dropped a 7 – 3 decision in Kenora last night but will look to rebound on Thursday when they host Sioux Lookout.  Tonight the girls aim to strengthen their grip on first as they play Beaver Brae at 6:30 pm
Dec 19 A good day for the Seniors in Kenora yesterday as volleyball won in straight sets and basketball battled to a 65 – 60 victory.  Both junior squads lost to the Broncos.  In the last action before Christmas, all 4 teams will host Fort Frances tomorrow.
Dec 19 The Dryden Ski Club is currently hiring lifties for the upcoming season.  If you are interested in working outside and enjoy working around people, please check out our facebook page or contact Mr. Schmidt for more information.

Dec 19 Please be advised that sign up for the Junior Shooters program will take place at the the Dryden Rifle & Pistol Club on Monday, Jan. 7th between

7 pm – 9 pm. You must register at that time to participate in the program that will run between Jan 14th – April 30th. For more info, come to the main office.

Mon. Dec. 10th Announcements/Reminders

Dec 10 All Nordic Ski Team Members are to pick up team registration forms from Mr Schmidt at practice today in room 137.  Also equipment rentals need to be finalized this week.  It’s first come, first served, so be sure to get yours booked asap.  Practice will be outside today.
Dec 10 Exciting News!  The DHS Yearbook Team is putting out a double issue 18/19 & 17/18 yearbook this year.  If you purchase one, it will be in your hands around June 10th of this school year!  The cost is $25 and must be paid by December 14.  If you paid your student fees in 2017/18 you will receive a yearbook.  If you are unsure if you paid your student fees check with the main office.  Yearbooks must be prepaid as they cannot be purchased after they arrive, and are not available online.
