Morning Announcements – Sept. 24, 2010

Sept. 24 Good luck to the Jr. Boys Volleyball team travelling to Winnipeg & Sr. Boys Volleyball team travelling to Kenora for tournaments today.
Sept. 24 Ben Arsenault recorded a tackle and scored the Eagles first points of the football season but the team fell 31 – 1 to Miles McDonell yesterday.  The team continued to improve however & with dates with Maples & Steinbach coming they look to break into the win column.
Sept. 24 Congratulations to the boys golf team on capturing the NorWOSSA Gold Medal in Fort  Frances yesterday.  Wade Wetelainen also won NorWOSSA gold as the overall champion after three events.  Brett Getson placed 4th, Adam Getson 6th and Josh Kitt finished in 9th position.  The team now travels to Geraldton for the NWOSSA finals.
Sept. 24 Sr. Girls lost yesterday 33 – 19 in a close fought match.
Sept. 24 Thrive – group meeting is today at lunch (11:30) in room 210.
Sept. 24 Do you need volunteer hours?  Do you love horses?  Do you want to make a positive impact on the lives of others?  Dryden Therapeutic Riding is committed to providing therapeutic, recreation and life skills training opportunities for children and adults with special need.  Volunteers are needed for all positions, and previous experience with horses is not necessary, as training will be provided.  If you are interested, a sign-up sheet is available in the main office.
