Girls Hockey vs. Kenora – NorWOSSA Final

The Dryden Eagles will head to Kenora with a game in hand after defeating the Beaver Brae Broncos 3-2 tonight in Dryden.

Lauren Shoguchi started things off with a quick unassisted goal in the first 30 seconds of play. Clair Paquette followed in the first, assisted by Engstrom and Wesley. Kenora answered with a power play goal, and the Eagles went into the second up 2-1.

A lone Kenora power play goal in the second tied things up, and the score remained 2-2 going into the third.

Neither team was ready to pack it in, and the third period turned into a back and forth affair, with Dryden having multiple opportunities to score but not finishing until Alex Wesley found the net late in the period, assisted by Engstrom and Tardiff.

Bree Brown picked up the win in net.

Great game girls, keep working hard and finish it off in Kenora!
