Morning Announcements – Oct. 26, 2009

Oct. 26 The football team put forth a team effort to defeat the Oak Park Raiders 25 – 8 for their 5th win in a row.  The team finishes with a 5 and 2 record and a quarterfinal match up this Friday against the Murdoch McKay Clansmen in Winnipeg.
Oct. 26, 27 Last chance to audition for the Music Man, the musical that is going to rock River City… oops, I mean Dryden High.  Come out today @ lunch.
Oct. 26 Students with Safe Grad tickets are reminded to return their tickets and money in at the main office before Friday, October 30th.
Oct. 26 Volunteers are needed at Princess Court to be friendly greeters.  If you are interested, please come to the main office for more information.
Oct. 26, 27 Please come out to the School’s Antiviolence Meeting on Tues. Oct. 27 at 3:30 in the library and help us plan a Karaoke night and our Antiviolence Vigil.  Hope to see you there.
Oct. 23 – 27 We would like to congratulate all of the students who achieved an average of 80% or better during the 2008 – 2009 school year.  The honour roll list is posted in the cabinet in student square.  We will be celebrating the achievements of honour roll students next Wednesday October 28th at 8:30 a.m. at the Dryden Regional Training and Cultural Centre.  Letters have been mailed home and RSVP’s to the event need to be confirmed on Monday October 26th.  Congratulations again – hope to see you at the breakfast.
Oct. 9 – Nov. Grace Haven is looking for student volunteers to help with the Festival of Trees event this year at the Centre on November 16 & 17 for set up and Nov. 18 – 21 for event days.  If you are available for this event, please come to the main office to sign up.
