Morning Announcements – May 19, 2011

May 19 Grade 12 students, if you are planning to take the following postsecondary courses this fall:  justice system, police foundations, social work, law or politics, then stop by the guidance office for bursary information.
May 19 A reminder to Mr. Wilkinson’s Period 3 English class to meet in room 124B @ lunch today.
May 19 There will be a boys soccer practice today at New Prospect Field at 3:30.
May 19 Family Safety Night is just around the corner on Wednesday, June 1st from 4:00 pm until 7:00 p.m.  The organizers are in need of someone to dress up in the Sparky costume.  Come to the main office for more information if you are in need of some volunteer hours. 
May 17 – 20 Anyone looking to get volunteer hours @ the Relay for Life, please sign your name on the list in the main office.  This event is Friday, June 3rd.
May 19 Students interested in earning volunteer hours umpping for Dryden Minor Softball, contact Darcy Spalding at 223-3324.
May 19 Grade 12 graduating students…graduation is less than 2 months away.  Orders for your cap and gown can be  placed here in the office.  $25.00 will reserve a cap and gown…a requirement for walking across the stage.  If you are choosing not to attend the graduation ceremonies, a form must be filled out indicating a cap and gown will not be required.  Deadline is April 21st.
May 19 Attention to students who have not yet returned the green Consent to Release Personal Information form that was in with your report cards, please return this form as soon as possible.  Without this consent form, your picture will not be in the yearbook.  If you need a form, there are extras here in the main office.
