May 14 There will be a Pow Wow meeting tomorrow at 12:30 in the library.
May 14 Submissions for the Shke short film/art/photo contest are due May 16th.  Submissions can be handed in to Mr. Gardner in room 210 during Block B.
May 14  A reminder to grade 12 students:  The deadline for most of the local scholarships is Friday, May 18th.  Check out the website for new scholarships that have been added.
May 14 Dryden Safe Grad is looking for volunteers for their annual garage sale.  Set up is Friday, May 25 at 3:15 until 10:00 p.m.    Sale is on Saturday, May 26 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  Come for 1 hour or the whole time.  It is up to you.  All grade levels welcome.  Earn many volunteer hours in 2 days.  For more information & to sign up come to the office.
May 14 There will be a soccer referee clinic held May 26 – 27th.  The clinic is being sponsored by Senior Soccer, so there will be no charge for the course.  For further information, contact Andrew.Bartlett@investorsgroup.com
May 14 For those students not in grade 12 University Biology, Chemistry or Kinesiology this semester that had one of these classes first semester that would like to attend a knee surgery during Friday, May 18th, period 2, please sign-up in the main office.
May 14  Athletic Awards Banquet is coming up on Thursday, May 31st.  It is semi-formal – $10.00 each for tickets available in the phys. ed. office, main office & Time-Out Sports – all athletes & parents are welcome.
May 14 2012 Northern Ontario Youth Talent Search FUTURE STAR official Entry Forms are here in the main office.  The preliminary competitions are June 8th & 9th and the final competitions is Sunday, August 12th at the CLE Fair.  Limited entries will be accepted.  Juniors is a $15.00 entry fee and Seniors is a $20.00 entry fee.  For more information come to the main office.
May 14 Anybody looking to volunteer at the Relay For Life, please sign the list in the main office.
May 14 Organizers for Family Safety Night are looking for volunteers.  It would be easy, fun and greatly appreciated.  Volunteers are needed to hand out free items (token, draw ticket & promo item) to attendees and also to hand out free drinks & chips at the refreshment booth.  Shifts are available from 3:30 – 5:30 or 5:30 – 7:00.  Family Safety Night is Wednesday, June 6th.
May 14 The Canadian Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to help with an upcoming fundraiser.  They are looking for students to help set up, serving and kitchen help.  For more information, call JoAnne at 223-2471 or stop by the guidance office.
