Morning Announcements – March 5, 2012

Mar. 5 The girls hockey team played with heart but fell 4 – 2 and 3 – 0 to Beaver Brae over the weekend.  The girls had a great season and should be proud of their accomplishments.  Hold you head high girls.
Mar. 5 Mr. Walsh’s Phys. Ed. class is reminded to meet at room 138 with their jackets to walk outside.
Mar. 5 Seven Generations Education Institute will be here on Tuesday, March 22 from 12:45 – 1:45 to talk about their College & University Programs – Teacher, Social Worker, Police Foundations, Culinary Arts, & Masters Programs.  Sign up in the guidance office.
Mar. 5 Grade 12 Cosmetology will be offering $5 Tuesdays.  Eyebrow Waxing or Bang Trims.  Tuesday at 11:30 until 12:00 in the Cosmetology room 124A.  Stop in.
Mar. 5 Attention Badminton Team Members.  Please note that the 1st tournament in Sioux Lookout date has been changed from Wednesday, Mar. 21st to Thursday, Mar. 22nd.
Mar. 5 The Dryden Rotary Club is once again sponsoring Adventures in Technology, which is a 6 day event running from Sunday April 29th to Saturday May 4th, 2012.  One DHS student will be chosen to join students from across Western Canada for an intense exploration of advanced technology, research development and applications.  This is a highly academic program having students visit some of Canada’s finest corporations and research facilities.  If you would like to be considered for this program or wish to nominate another student, please forward the name to Guidance.  Deadline for applications is Wed., March 14th.  For more information, contact Guidance.
