Morning Announcements – Feb. 7, 2012

Feb. 7 Good Luck to the members of the Eagle’s Nordic Ski Team who are travelling to Marathon today for the NWOSSA Nordic Skiing Championship.
Feb. 7 – 10 Spectator bus consent & permission forms are available in the Phys. Ed. office – 1st come, 1st served & money paid will be accepted.  There is a limited # of seats.  This is for the Court Sports NorWOSSA playoffs in Fort Frances next Wed. Feb. 15th.
Feb. 7 – 10 The DHS business students are once again running Cupid’s Delivery Service.  Order your special someone a rose or a yummy Persian bun and we’ll deliver it to their block A class on Valentine’s Day.  Roses are $5.00 and Persians are $2.00.  Order yours at lunch Tues. to Fri. this week in the student square.
Feb. 7 To all Grade 11 and 12 students … if you are interested in a career in the health care field, there is a presentation on Thursday, February 23rd.  Doctors, Lab Technicians and an Occupational Therapist will be speaking.  Please sign up in the main office.
Feb. 6 – 8 Grade 12 students in a senior science last semester or this semester.  There is a trip to Lakehead U on Thursday, Feb. 16th.  See Mr. Mitchell in room 107 for more information.  Room is limited, so the sooner the better.
Feb. 6 – 7 Want a trip to Southern Ontario, how about $30.00 of itunes cards?  Think you know your fish?  Stop by to see us in the student square today.  Identify some Fish & you can enter our draw for a $30.00 itunes card.  To win a trip you’ll have to join the team.  Come to an info meeting Wednesday @ 11:30 in room 107.
Feb. 7 To all potential graduating students – Graduation Photos will be taken here at Dryden High School on Feb. 14th, 15th & 16th.  Sign up sheets are here in the main office on the counter.  A $15.00 session fee must be paid at your appointment time.
Feb. 6 – 7 Would you like to go on a one week trip to Waterloo?  Are you in Grade 11?  Do you identify yourself as an Aboriginal person?  Come to room 210 today at 11:30 for more information.
Feb 6-9 Reminder to Season 2 Athletes who were given Sysco Food Orders to sell:  they are due back to the Phys. Ed. office this Friday.  Return all sold and unsold sheets stapled together with the money.
Feb. 6 – 11 Warehouse One is once again having their Jean Trade-In for Charity.  Between now and Feb. 11th you can bring your gently used jeans or other items you no longer need or want to Warehouse One.  If you donate 1 pair you will receive 10% off your entire purchase – 2 pair 15% and 3 pair is 20%.
