Morning Announcements – Feb 4, 2011

Feb. 4 Attention to people parking in the Centre parking lot.  The police are now enforcing parking regulations at the Centre & are ticketing vehicles without permits.  You need to see John Carlucci at the Centre for a parking permit.
Feb. 4 Any DHS Ambassador available to help SET UP for perogy making is asked to go to room 124B @ 3:10 today.
Feb. 4 Just a reminder of the ski team practice at the ski hill tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.  If you need a ride, please be at the back of the school at 10:15 a.m.
Feb. 4 The business classes at DHS will once again be running our Valentine’s Day promotion.  Next week we will be taking orders for roses or special candy bags to be delivered to your sweetheart.  Come see us in student square next Monday to Thursday.
Feb. 4 Attention graduating students – grad photos are scheduled for Feb. 15, 16 & 17.  Sign-up sheets are on the counter, here in the main office.
Feb. 4 Here is another opportunity for students in need of volunteer hours.  The Dryden Public Library is looking for tech savvy teens to use their skills to teach seniors how to use a variety of electronics and computer programs.  There is a registration form here in the main office.  For more information visit the Public Library or call 223-1475.
Feb. 4 The 1st Annual Kids Northern Lights Karaoke Contest will take place on February 6, 2011.  Registration & practice will be 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Contest will be from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.  Registration fee is 3:00 per child, per week to qualify for the semi-finals.  Each Sunday afternoon family and friends will vote 2 kids for each category.  For more information look for posters in the school or the web site is KNLkaraoke contest
Feb. 4 Attention to students who have not yet returned the green Consent to Release Personal Information form that was in with your report cards, please return this form as soon as possible.  Without this consent form, your picture will not be in the yearbook.  If you need a form, there are extras here in the main office.
