Feb. 1	Good luck to our Boys Hockey team playing here tonight @ the arena – come & cheer them on – game starts @ 6:30. Our 1^st blue & gold day for Semester 2 is tomorrow – wear your blue & gold/eagles wear to school & cheer on our Girls Volleyball & Boys Basketball teams – games start @ noon in the big gym tomorrow.
Feb. 1	Envirothon – we are looking for new members. Come on out today at 11:30 to room 107 to learn more about this fun competition, get information on our next field trips and to watch the movie Dirt.
Feb. 1, 2	Hey, those interested in Concert Band – it starts on Wednesday at lunch. Come out and check it out. Bring on the Band.
Feb. 1, 2	There will be a football meeting for all players from last season on Wednesday, Feb. 2^nd at 11:30 in room 138. Please make the effort to attend as coach McLeod & Rodgers will be speaking.
Feb. 1	Attention graduating students – grad photos are scheduled for Feb. 15, 16 & 17. Sign-up sheets are on the counter, here in the main office.
Feb. 1	Here is another opportunity for students in need of volunteer hours. The Dryden Public Library is looking for tech savvy teens to use their skills to teach seniors how to use a variety of electronics and computer programs. There is a registration form here in the main office. For more information visit the Public Library or call 223-1475.
Feb. 1	Attention Cheerleaders – February schedules for cheerleaders can be picked up in the main office.
Feb. 1	The 1^st Annual Kids Northern Lights Karaoke Contest will take place on February 6, 2011. Registration & practice will be 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Contest will be from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Registration fee is 3:00 per child, per week to qualify for the semi-finals. Each Sunday afternoon family and friends will vote 2 kids for each category. For more information look for posters in the school or the web site is KNLkaraoke contest @hotmail.ca
Feb. 1	Attention to students who have not yet returned the green Consent to Release Personal Information form that was in with your report cards, please return this form as soon as possible. Without this consent form, your picture will not be in the yearbook. If you need a form, there are extras here in the main office.
