Dec. 1	You’re invited to come out to sing at a Family Karaoke Night on Thursday, Dec. 3^rd from 6 – 9 p.m. in the small gym at DHS – there will be lots of participation prizes – pop and chips will be sold. This event is sponsored by the Dryden Youth Centre, DHS SAVE group and the Mayor’s Anti-violence Committee. Hope to see you there!
Dec. 1	THIS IS A BIG REMINDER TO THE MEMBERS OF THE ARTS COUNCIL ABOUT THE NEW YORK MEETING TONIGHT IN THE MUSIC ROOM AT 6:30….BE SURE TO BRING YOUR PARENTS/GUARDIANS!! AGAIN ARTS COUNCIL MEETING TONIGHT IN THE MUSIC ROOM AT 6:30.
Nov. 30 – Dec. 1^st	To all Coop students – Wednesday is an in-class reflection day. All Coop students are to go to Room 119 at their regular Coop time.
Nov. 30 – Dec. 4	The Christmas Cheer Board is looking for volunteers. Come to the main office for more information. (Call 223-5995 & ask for Peggy)
Nov. 30 – Dec. 3^rd	Students wishing to write the Grade 9, Grade 10, or Grade 11 Mathematics Contests, please see your teacher or Mr. Currie in Room 208 to sign up or for further information. The registration deadline is this Thursday. The Math Contest will be held on Thursday, February 25^th.
Nov. 30 – Dec. 1^st	Attention Reading Eagles: The White Pine Reading Program is about to start. Come to the Library today, at 11:30 to hear all about this year’s books and sign up. It’s okay to bring your lunch. If you can’t make the meeting, but still want to be a part of it, see Mrs. Storgard in the library.
Nov. 30	Any students interested in jewelry making on Wednesday, Dec. 2^nd at lunch. Please sign up in the main office.
Nov. 26 – 30	Staff of DHS are offering a variety of activities for students to participate in at lunch. Please see the calendar of events posted outside the library for the activities being offered.
Nov. 30	Dryden Atom Tournament organizers are still looking for student volunteers to keep time for their tournament which is taking place December 11^th – 13^th. Sign up is here in the main office. This is a good opportunity to earn some volunteer hours.
