Morning Announcements – April 8, 2011

April 8 – 11 Confederation College will be holding an information session for grade 11 students on Monday April 11th from 2:00 – 3:00.  Interested students must sign up in the guidance office.
April 7 – 13 Any First Nations or Métis students who are interested in touring Lakehead University and Confederation College in Thunder Bay on April 18 & 19 are to sign up on the list in the office.  If interested, please let the office know by Wed., April 13th.
April 8 Grade 12 students:  the local scholarships and bursaries site is now open.  Go to dhseagles.com and follow the links.
April 8 The Dryden Ball Diamonds Committee is looking for some student volunteers to help with set up on May 6th serving dinner on May 7th and take down on May 8th for the 7th Annual Chamber Business Excellence Awards Dinner.  Please come to the main office for more information if you are interested.
April 8 The 2011 Dryden Sports & Home Show organizers are looking for 4 – 6 students to help out from April 12 – 16.  Volunteers are required for the following:  show set-up, show greeters, show take-down & the Red Cross booth.  For more information come to the main office.
April 8 Grade 12 graduating students…graduation is less than 3 months away.  Orders for your cap and gown can be  placed here in the office.  $25.00 will reserve a cap and gown…a requirement for walking across the stage.  If you are choosing not to attend the graduation ceremonies, a form must be filled out indicating a cap and gown will not be required.
April 8 Attention to students who have not yet returned the green Consent to Release Personal Information form that was in with your report cards, please return this form as soon as possible.  Without this consent form, your picture will not be in the yearbook.  If you need a form, there are extras here in the main office.
