Wed. Sept. 27th Announcements

Sept 27 Students who will be going on to post-secondary school next year are encouraged to visit the External Scholarships and Bursaries page of the guidance section of the DHS website.This site is being updated on an ongoing basis TD Scholarship for Community Leadership is now accepting applications from students in their final year of high school.  Students who have made their community a better place could receive $70,000 over 4 years.  For more information please visit the External Scholarship page of guidance section of the DHS webpage or visit the guidance office.
Sept 27 Remember to wear your blue and gold tomorrow and be ready to cheer on our Football team. The game will be at 3:00 pm.
Sept 27 Hey DHS!  Remember Jack Talks presentation from last year?  We’re starting up a group for students who are interested in learning more about mental health and how to break mental health stigmas.  If you’re interested in learning more about this group, please sign up in the Guidance office as our first meeting will be this Wednesday!  See Ms. Seitz for more information!
Sept 27 Reminder if any students are interested in signing up for the Principal’s DHS Student Advisory Council, please sign up at the main office.
Sept 27 University Information Program will be Tuesday Oct.3rd from 2:00-3:30 pm
Sept 27 Any Grade 9 students that have your registration packages completed, please drop them off at the office.
Sept 27 Anecdotal reports go home on Oct. 2nd and Parent teacher interviews will be on Oct. 4th from 3:45 – 6:15 pm. Nov. 13th Mid-term reports go home and Parent Teacher interviews will be on Nov 15th, same time as above.
Sept 27 Picture day will have a second session for those who have not had their photo taken or require retakes on Wednesday, October 25th.  Please remember to have your photo taken for the yearbook and to get your student ID card even if you don’t plan to buy a package.
