May 3 Reminder for potential grads to order your cap & gown.  The cost is $25.00 to rent the gown and you can keep the cap & tassel. These must be ordered and paid for by Friday, May 5th.
May 3 DHS eagles Track and Field team did awesome in Baudette on Monday:

Jacob Bilous won gold in 100m Dash, 200m Dash, and silver in Long Jump. Randy Russel, Jarett Hicks, Thomas Moline and Jacob Bilous won gold in the 4x100m relay. Mike Ryan won gold in the Discus. Kadin Taylor won Silver in the 110m hurdle as well as bronze in the 300m hurdle and Discus. Jarett Hicks took home bronze in the 200m dash and the 100m dash. Thomas Moline won gold in the 800m run.​ Madison Lambert took home gold in 800m and 1600m. Ally Wisneski won gold in discus. Madison Lambert, Daniella Szczepaniak, Cynthia Terry and Sarah Urquhart won relay silver in the 4x100m. Sarah Urquhart won silver in the 3200m run. Dryden High school came second overall as a team.

Great work by the whole team!

May 3 Reminder to grade 9’s that the conservation camp consent forms were due to Mr. Schmidt last Friday.  Please get them in immediately!
May 3 The Lake of the Woods Chapter of Professional Engineers Ontario is offering three $500.00 bursaries to Northwestern Ontario graduating students.  You must be enrolling in an engineering degree program in the fall.  The deadline for this external bursary is May 15th.  Please see the guidance office for more information.
May 3 There is also a bursary for Architecture, Engineering or a Construction Trade related program.  Please see the guidance office for more information. Remember the application deadline for most local bursaries and scholarships is Friday, May 5th.
May 3 Nexus Community Savings (the Credit Union) is offering a bursary, you must have been a member for at least 6 months.  Also, IILS – Experimental Lakes Area – if offering a bursary to a student pursuing studies in Biology, Environmental Studies, or Environmental Engineering.
May 3 Any students who are interested in taking Careers & Civics this summer are to pick up an application form in the Guidance Office.  It must be filled out and returned if you want to take this class.
May 3 A message for all current grade 12 students.  Anyone who is not returning next year must have signed a not-returning form.  If you have not done this please go to the guidance office today.  Any grade 12 students who are returning next year should have completed their course selections in myBlueprint.  If you have not yet done this please visit the guidance office today.
