DHS Students worked with various types of rescue equipment as part of a physics demonstration.

Mr. Schmidt’s Grade 12 Physics class travelled to the Vermilion Bay Fire Hall this week to see some of the physics principles they are studying come to life in the rescue sytems used by the fire department.

Students were treated to demonstrations of the “Jaws of Life”, vehicle lifting airbags and water pumping systems.
