Mr. Schmidt’s Grade 12 Physics class travelled to the Vermilion Bay Fire Hall¬†this week to see some of the physics principles they are studying come to life in the¬†rescue sytems used by the fire department.

Students were treated to demonstrations of the “Jaws of Life”, vehicle lifting airbags and water pumping systems.
