Potential Grad Meeting (Spring)

  1. Community Hours –hours need to be completed and handed in by the end of May
  2. Grad Photos – make sure you have booked your photos online or on the phone through LifeTouch
  3. Grad Cap & Gown Order Forms – orders must be in by May 8th with a $25.00 fee
  4. Bursaries & Scholarships – internal bursary booklet will be available beginning of April
     – some deferrals are possible – read the bursary description

  5. My Blueprint – if you are planning/thinking of returning to DHS in the fall, fill out myBlueprint
    If you are not returning, please fill out the yellow form and hand in
  6. Post-secondary Applications  – schools are still assessing transcripts
  7. OSAP
    – you can only apply for OSAP after you have accepted a post-secondary program
    – we will be hosting several application and information sessions when OSAP opens
    – You cannot complete your application if you have not accepted a program
  8. College & University Program Fees – look into program deposit dates to secure your spot
  9. College & University Residence – look into the residence plans & fill out the applications of your school of choice

  10. IEP’s – students have to take a copy of their IEP to your school’s Student Support Services
  11. Graduation – committee of students that want to make decisions and help with their grad ceremony.   This committee will meet once to twice a month, and will be responsible for setting time, collecting info for bios, decorating, music, valedictorian selection process, etc.   Interested students should contact Mr. Mitchell or listen to announcements for our first meeting in late April.
