The Eagles football team opened the regular season with an exciting 20 – 17 victory over St. Norbert on Friday. Solid offensive line play led to touchdowns from Brendan Bartlett & two from Ryan Martel. Tyson Schollie paced the defense with 10 tackles, while Drew Walske added an interception. Dryden hosts Fort Frances at 4:00 p.m. on Friday in a rematch of last season’s night game. |

The Northwest Catholic District School Board is preparing to offer the Grade 10 Religious Education Course. This is an open course with no pre-requisites required, worth 1 credit. Students in Grades 9 to 12 are welcome to sign up. Classes will be held at St. Joseph’s School, one night weekly for three hours to a total of 110 hours. Anyone interested in taking the course should sign up at the Guidance Office by 3:00 o’clock on Friday, September 21st. |
