Morning Announcements – Tuesday, February 11th

Feb 11 If you are a Gr. 11 student and planning to attend Confederation College after high school, please listen up….Confederation College will pay the $95.00 application fee and credit a $1,000 entrance bursary for five grade 11 students.  All you have to do is sign up in the Guidance office and indicate your intended program of study.  The deadline is Feb. 28th.
Feb. 11 There will be seats for spectators to go on the bus to watch the court sports playoffs in Fort Frances on Thursday.  Please go to the Phys Ed office for a permission form and the cost is $20.00.
Feb. 11 Grade 12 Grad photos will be taken downstairs in the Comm Tech area – B24 – same place where picture day was in the fall.
Feb 11 There will be an OSAID meeting today at lunch in the upper video conference room.
Feb 11 Dryden’s annual Winter Festival is looking for volunteers for to help out at various events next weekend.  Come out for a fun filled weekend. Please stop by the main office or guidance office for contact information -Suzanne Joly @  221-7675

Feb 11 The Ontario Educational Leadership Centre is offering several leadership courses this summer.   Students will develop leadership skills through their choice of courses such as music, the arts, athletics or French.  For more information and applications stop by the guidance office.
Feb 11 The University of Winnipeg is hosting the High School Enrichment Program from April 29 – May 2.  Interested students please stop by the guidance office for more information.

Feb 11 Grade 12 students applying to universities and colleges outside of Ontario MUST let the guidance office know, or your transcripts will not be sent. Also, please remember to check the DHS website and the binder in the guidance office on a regular basis for the latest scholarships and bursaries.
