Feb 5 If you did not book your grade 12 grad photos for this session, Lifetouch will be back on March 25th & 26th.  You can now go online to book your appointment at lifetouch.ca/tbay or come to the office for the information. The grad photos today are being taken downstairs in the Comm Tech area.

Feb 5 There are numerous opportunities to get your volunteer hours this month.  Dryden Minor Hockey Association is looking for helpers on Feb. 12th, the Vermilion Bay Kids Carnival on Feb. 14th and Camp Brigitte sliding hill on Feb. 16th.  You can come to the main office or the Guidance Office for more information.

Feb 5 The Dryden Rotary Club will be sponsoring a student to attend the Adventures in Technology in Saskatoon.  This is a comprehensive, carefully planned 4 ½ day event that will enhance your awareness and understanding of technology and the many ways that it affects our lives.  Interested students stop by the guidance office for more information.
Feb 5 Are you a Grade 11 student that is planning to attend Confederation College after graduation?  You may qualify to have your $95 Application Fee paid for and receive a $1,000 Entrance Award through the Confederation Bound – Early Acceptance program.  Stop by the guidance office for more information.
Feb 5 Students you can have your say about your education…Apply now for the 2015-16 Minister’s Student Advisory Council.  This is a group of about 60 students from publicly funded schools all across the province.  They share their ideas and advice with the Minister of Education.  If you are interested, please see Mrs. McConnachie, Mr. Bartlett or Ms. McMaster. The deadline to apply is February 28th.
