Feb 3 There will be no sexual health clinic today.
Feb 3 There will be a GSA meeting on Monday at lunch in the upper video conference room.
Feb 3 There will be free tutoring in the library for semester two on Tuesday mornings from 8:15 – 8:45 am and Thursdays at lunch from 12 – 12:30 pm
Feb 3 Grade 12 Graduation photos will be taken on Feb. 11, 12 & 13.  Please come to the office for a brochure on how to book your appointment. Retakes will be on March 26 & 27.
Feb 3 There will be a Canadian Forces presentation on Wednesday, February 12.  The sign-up sheet is in the guidance office.
Feb 3 The Ontario Educational Leadership Centre is offering several leadership courses this summer.   Students will develop leadership skills through their choice of courses such as music, the arts, athletics or French.  For more information and applications stop by the guidance office.
Feb 3 The University of Toronto is committed to enhancing educational opportunities for Aboriginal youth.  As a result, a SOAR program during the March break of 2014 is being offered.  The program is at U of T – for more information please pick up an application form and a brochure in the Guidance Office.  The deadline to apply is this Friday.
Feb 3 The University of Winnipeg is hosting the High School Enrichment Program from April 29 – May 2.  Interested students please stop by the guidance office for more information.

Feb 3 The Centre will be having the Blackie and Rodeo King events sponsored by World Vision Canada on Feb. 4th and they are looking for 2 volunteers to assist at the Sponsorship table.  Volunteers must be 16 years or over and will also be able to see the show.   Please come to the office for more information.
Feb 3 The Heart and Stroke Foundation is looking for volunteers to help with Heartburn Day/who makes the best chili.  This will be held at the Fair Grounds on Saturday, Feb. 8th.  Please come to the office for further information.

Feb 3 Grade 12 students applying to universities and colleges outside of Ontario MUST let the guidance office know, or your transcripts will not be sent. Also, please remember to check the DHS website and the binder in the guidance office on a regular basis for the latest scholarships and bursaries.
