Congratulations to the girls hockey team for their silver medal finish at the K-Town Klassic tournament in Kenora over the weekend. The girls were undefeated with wins over Westwood, Beaver Brae and Red Lake setting up the gold medal game with Fort Frances. The game was tied 1 – 1 after overtime and went to a 7-player shootout before falling 2 -1 to the Muskies. Scoring in regulation was Lyndsey Oliphant and in the shootout Rachel Getson. Jacquie Grandmont had a strong game in net. |
