Feb 21 If you would still like to get your match maker for $2, you can come to the office and pick it up.
Feb 21 All junior girls volleyball, junior boys basketball & cheerleaders, please empty out your lockers from the change room by today at 3:10 – including all garbage and leave the locks in the locker.
Feb 21 Grade 12 graduation picture re-takes will be on March 26 & 27.
Feb 21 The Dryden Rotary Club is once again sponsoring a grade 11 or 12 student to attend this year’s Adventures In Technology that runs from Apr 28th to May 2nd in Saskatoon.  Application forms can be picked up in the Guidance Office.  Deadline for applications is Tues, Mar.4th
Feb 21 If you are a Gr. 11 student and planning to attend Confederation College after high school, please listen up….Confederation College will pay the $95.00 application fee and credit a $1,000 entrance bursary for five grade 11 students.  All you have to do is sign up in the Guidance office and indicate your intended program of study.  The deadline is Feb. 28th.
Feb 21 Volunteers are needed for the Dryden Novice Tournament on Feb. 21 – 23rd to time keep and run the door. Please see Mrs. Viherjoki to get your volunteer hours.
Feb 21 There are summer job opportunities for students with the Ontario Public Service.  Please go to the Guidance Office for more information.
Feb 21 There will be free tutoring in the library on Tuesday mornings from 8:15 – 8:45 am and Thursdays at lunch from 12 – 12:30 pm
Feb 21 The Ontario Educational Leadership Centre is offering several leadership courses this summer.   Students will develop leadership skills through their choice of courses such as music, the arts, athletics or French.  For more information and applications stop by the guidance office.
Feb 21 The University of Winnipeg is hosting the High School Enrichment Program from April 29 – May 2.  Interested students please stop by the guidance office for more information.
Feb 21 Grade 12 students applying to universities and colleges outside of Ontario MUST let the guidance office know, or your transcripts will not be sent. Also, please remember to check the DHS website and the binder in the guidance office on a regular basis for the latest scholarships and bursaries.
